Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Apart from her beautiful beauty, her continued success in the film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. She began her career modeling in the 70s, and quickly became one of the top models. In the early 1980s, she took classes in acting and theater before performing on the stage in Los Angeles. Russo's first film role was ABCs 1989 drama Sable in which she appeared as Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut movie. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting skills but eventually redeemed themselves when they saw her constant performance. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was a favorite of reviewers, since she stood up to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. According to her, she didn't have a love for acting. In 2005, she went on a self-imposed hiatus. After a prolonged break, she came back with her role in Thor. Additionally, she was a part-star in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award winning film. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were comedies with a light-hearted tone in which she starred.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female fighters. She began her career as an amateur fighter competing in various regional promotions before signing to Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of fame since joining the UFC because of her outside and inside the octagon's successes. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose was a basketball player as well as kickboxing while she was growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by her at age 18 and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC s strawweight division in December 2014 at just 22 years old. Through Rose her career, she's experienced periods of highs and lows but each victory has been hers. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes after the start of the round. It was the first time a woman competed in a title fight with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas then went on to win a few other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned the Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
